A frequently used combination of temperature and ironing speed can be stored as a favourite program. It appears in the touch display with a special icon and can be selected with just one touch.

Taking a quick break
If the rotary iron is not going to be used for a short time, it can be set to a mode to protect your laundry and save energy. All PM 12 irons: When the pause function is selected, the trough disengages and the roller stops. The heater remains active initially; the temperature is reduced after 5 minutes. M 500/600/800 / D 500/600/800 irons: When the STOP function is selected, the trough disengages, the roller stops, and the temperature is reduced.

Customized ironing speed
Different ironing speeds are required depending on the type of laundry and the residual moisture level. This is why you can adjust the roller speed on Miele Professional irons in small increments. And therefore the speed at which different operators work can be catered for.
