The casing of the vacuum cleaner is heated up by the motor.

Switch the vacuum cleaner off using the On/Off footswitch.
Remove the electrical plug from the socket.
Disassemble the floorhead, hose, handle, and telescopic wand.
You can carefully push coarse particles which are jammed in the hose or in the telescopic wand toward the floorhead using a long object (e.g., a broom handle).
Items causing a blockage are usually easy to shake out of the handle.
After removing the cause of the fault, wait for approximately 30 minutes to allow the vacuum cleaner to cool down. It can then be turned on again.
Switch the vacuum cleaner off using the On/Off footswitch.
Remove the electrical plug from the socket.
Vacuum cleaners with FilterBag:
Replace the FilterBag, the exhaust filter, or the motor protection filter as required.

Empty and clean the dust container as required.
Clean the fine dust filter, the filter mat, the prefilter, and the filter frame.
Replace the exhaust filter if necessary.

Vacuum cleaners with Blizzard dust container:
Empty and clean the dust container as required.
Empty and clean the filter frame.
Start the self-cleaning function of the fine dust filter manually.

After removing the cause of the fault, wait for approximately 30 minutes to allow the vacuum cleaner to cool down. It can then be turned on again.
