The dishware is not dry or cutlery and glasses are spotted.
Add rinse aid or increase the dispensing quantity. Consult the operating instructions for information about setting the dispensing quantity. Please note that adding too much rinse aid can result in a soapy residue on dishware.
Please load dishware so that lighter items are in the upper basket, cups are on the slanted shelf, and there is sufficient space between items to ensure that water can drain off freely.
Check that the spray arms can move freely and that the jets are not clogged. Consult the operating instructions for more information about how to load the dishwasher properly.
Leave the appliance door (on appliances without automatic door opening) closed for at least 15 minutes. This will allow the residual moisture to evaporate uniformly.
Unload the lower basket first, then the upper basket, and finally the cutlery tray (if there is one) to prevent water from the upper basket dripping onto dishware in the lower basket.
For the best drying results, Miele recommends the use of Miele rinse aid.
Experiment with using a separate powder cleaning agent, reactivation salt, and rinse aid for one rinse followed by another cycle using a multi-function detergent tab. Note the drying results and use the dispensing method which produces the best results.
On G 1000–G 2000 series appliances, it is necessary to select the 2 in 1 or 3 in 1 function button as appropriate. This has an impact on drying results.
From the G 5000 series onwards, appliances automatically detect if a multi-function cleaning agent tab or a separate powder cleaning agent is being used.
Please use reactivation salt, regardless of the hardness of the water supply, and select the appropriate hardness setting. Please consult the operating instructions for more detailed information about water hardness settings.
Please ensure that a program including a drying cycle is selected. In the event of unsatisfactory drying results, experiment with alternative programs. Consult the operating instructions for further information on this.
