Cakes/cookies are not baked properly after the duration specified in the cooking chart.
Cooking duration is insufficient.
Extend the cooking duration.
There are additional trays or accessories in the oven which are shielding the heat.
Remove any accessories that are not being used from the oven. Also remove the grease filter from the oven, as this obstructs the flow of air. Only insert the grease filter when broiling or roasting.
An unsuitable pan was used, which reflects or shields the heat.
Use dark, thin baking pans if possible.
Modifying a recipe may increase the cooking duration required. The addition of more liquid or eggs creates a moister mixture, which requires a longer cooking duration.
Check the ingredients and adjust the cooking duration.
