Support for yourOven

There are noises after the cooking process

Noises continue to be heard from the oven after the cooking process has finished.

The cooling fan will continue to run for a while after a cooking process to prevent any humidity building up in the oven, on the control panel, or in the housing unit.

temperature-controlled:

  • The cooling fan turns off when the temperature in the oven drops below approx. 160°F (70°C).

  • To set temperature-controlled, select Settings | Cooling fan run-on | temperature-controlled | OK.

time-controlled:

  • The cooling fan turns off after a period of approx. 25 minutes.

  • To set time-controlled, select Settings | Cooling fan run-on | time-controlled | OK.

Condensate can damage the housing unit and the countertop and lead to corrosion in the oven. When keeping food warm in the oven, the humidity increases with the time-controlled setting. Humidity can lead to condensation on the control panel and moisture under the countertop and on the cabinet front. Do not leave food in the oven compartment to keep it warm if you have selected the time-controlled setting.
