Grill/griddle not lighting/staying lit

If the grill or griddle is taking slightly longer to light than the burners but is staying lit and functioning well, then this is not a problem. With the grill/griddle, there is a small delay (about 5 seconds) between turning the knob and the grill/griddle igniting (the spark coming on).

If the grill/griddle is not lighting at all, even after the 5-second delay, then the gas-monitoring module may need to be replaced.

If the grill/griddle is lighting but not staying lit, then there may be an issue with the gas supply (the appliance may be designed for natural gas but hooked up to an LP supply, or vice versa).
