Refrigeration

Cooling capacity reduced

The refrigeration appliance is not cooling correctly.

The ventilation in the housing unit is not optimal.

Air at the back of the refrigeration appliance gets warm. The appliance housing unit must therefore be constructed to allow sufficient space for ventilation.

The cross-sectional area of the ventilation openings must be maintained at all times to ensure the correct functioning of the refrigeration appliance.

The ventilation openings must never be obstructed. They must also be cleaned on a regular basis to remove dust.

Check the ventilation cutouts (1), (2), (3) (see figure).

If necessary, remove objects that obstruct the ventilation. Remove any dust.

The ventilation cutouts must each be at least 31"2 (200 cm2) in size. The air must be able to rise freely behind the refrigeration appliance.
