Fault F5

Fault F5 appears on the robot vacuum cleaner display.

The roller brush is dirty.

Remove and clean the roller brush as follows:

  • Remove the dust box.

  • Place the robot vacuum cleaner upside down on a level, clean surface.

  • Remove the roller brush cover.

  • Remove the roller brush.

  • Use a pair of scissors to cut any threads or hairs that have wound themselves around the roller brush. To guide the scissors, move along the guide track in the roller.

  • Remove the threads and hairs with the comb end of the cleaning brush.

  • Replace the roller brush. Make sure you position it carefully.

  • Lock the cover, making sure it clicks into place. Make sure you position it carefully.

  • Reinsert the dust box into the robot vacuum cleaner.

  • To achieve the best possible cleaning results, replace the roller brush with a new one after 1 year.

The bearing points on the roller brush are dirty.

Remove the roller brush and clean the bearing points as follows:

  • Pull the bearing cover off the roller brush and remove any threads or hairs that have wound themselves around the bearing.

  • Reinstall the bearing cover, making sure it clicks into position.

  • Replace the roller brush. Make sure you position it carefully.

  • Lock the cover, making sure it clicks into place.

  • Reinsert the dust box into the robot vacuum cleaner.

  • To achieve the best possible cleaning results, replace the roller brush with a new one after 1 year.

The Corner Brushes are dirty.

Remove and clean the Corner Brushes as follows:

  • Place the robot vacuum cleaner upside down on a level, clean surface.

  • Using both hands, take hold of two opposite elastic Corner Brush holders and pull them upward to remove them.

  • Remove threads and hair using the wiper which is located on the bottom of the cleaning tool.

  • Hold the wiper over a bin and press the button at the top of the wiper several times until all threads and hair have fallen out.

  • Press the two cleaned Corner Brushes carefully onto their pins until they audibly engage.

  • Pay attention to the L and R markings.

  • To achieve the best possible cleaning results, replace the Corner Brushes with new ones after 1 year.

The Corner Brush is jammed underneath an object or a piece of furniture.

Pull the Corner Brush out from underneath the object.

The Corner Brush has become entangled in the carpet.

Untangle the Corner Brush from the carpet.
