The microwave function and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks historically use the same wireless frequency band for technical reasons. A microwave function may impair or interfere with the Wi-Fi network while the function is active.
Check whether affected third-party devices are able to divert to the 5 GHz Wi-Fi network, assuming that their technology supports this wireless frequency.
Divert to a 2.4 GHz edge channel using the following wireless channels:
wireless channel 1 or 2
wireless channel 12 or 13 (only available in Europe)
Divert to a cable connection (LAN/Ethernet) between the router and the affected third-party device, provided that the existing technology enables this.
If the Miele@home functions are affected/impaired, position a repeater near the Miele appliance in order to amplify the signal and/or use an edge channel.
