The lamp is defective.
The tumble dryer is damaged.
Faults affecting the drum lighting or electronic may occur.
The new lamp must not exceed the maximum rating specified on the data plate and cap.
Only source the new high-temperature-resistant lamp from a Miele dealer or Miele Customer Service.
After changing the lamp, make sure that the cap is correctly seated above the door opening to ensure a watertight fit.
To change the lamp, proceed as follows:
Before changing the lamp, unplug the electrical plug of the appliance from the socket. Alternatively, switch off the breaker.
Open the appliance door.
Unscrew the cap that is located above the door opening inside the tumble dryer.
Replace the lamp.
Put the cap back in place.
Retighten the cap.
Make sure that the cap is seated securely. If the cap is loose, there is a risk of moisture entering and causing a short circuit.
