Meet Steve Timpano, Vice President of the Professional Division at Miele Canada, who officially joined the company in July 2017, in the role of Director, Professional Division.

In his current capacity, Steve oversees all aspects of sales and service business matters within the Professional Division, including strategy, operations, and planning. With a people-centric approach, he leads his team with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Under his guidance, the Professional Division has nearly doubled its business volume within just five years, a testament to Steve's strategic leadership and customer-focused mindset.

Steve's career journey at Miele Canada began in the role of Director with sales responsibilities for the Professional Division. Over the years, his role expanded to include other crucial facets of the business, including Service. In his current role as VP, he aims to further expand Miele Canada’s presence in surgical centres and key medical service practices, such as Ophthalmology and Fertility Clinics.

Prior to his tenure at Miele, Steve held significant roles at STERIS, an American healthcare company, where he served as General Manager and Vice President for Canada for almost two decades. His most notable accomplishments are the teams he has built and led throughout his career, emphasizing the importance of collective effort and effective leadership.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Management Economics and Marketing, from the University of Guelph. He has pursued additional training in customer-oriented selling, managerial growth, and personality insights, showcasing his commitment to continuous development. Steve's choice to join Miele was driven by a desire for meaningful impact, aligning perfectly with his vision of success.
