History
Two families, one company: founded nearly 125 years ago by engineer Carl Miele and businessman Reinhard Zinkann, Miele still belongs exclusively to direct descendents of the pair. The founders stamped "Immer besser" onto their first products. These two words have been at the forefront throughout the one hundred year history at Miele.
Philosophy
Miele has been an independent family-owned company since its establishment in 1899 and is equally committed to its owners, employees, customers, suppliers, the environment and society.
Locations
From East Westphalia to the rest of the world. At present, Miele is represented in 50 countries/regions by company-owned sales organizations and in about 50 additional countries via importers.

Business Development
Constant growth in sales and personnel. In the 2021 financial year the company achieved sales of € 4.84 bn. This corresponds to an increase of € 335,9 m, or 7.5%. In Germany, turnover was € 1.91 bn.
