Meet Liz Spence, Vice President of Operations at Miele Canada.

Since February 2023, Liz has been responsible for the sales and operations planning process, demand forecasting, and inventory management at Miele Canada. Her responsibilities also extend to overseeing inbound and outbound freight, logistics, and multi-warehouse operations nationwide.

Liz offers two decades of dedicated leadership, focusing on creating teams that excel in providing exceptional customer service in dynamic environments. She is a collaborative problem solver, passionate about adopting supportive team cultures based on data-driven decisions.

Prior to Miele, Liz served as the Director of Supply Chain at MHI Aerospace Canada and Inscape Corporation. Her notable achievements include the development of comprehensive KPI scorecards, providing profound insights and guidance to multifaceted organizations.

Liz is a Business Operations graduate with a specialization in Supply Chain Management. She is best described as collaborative, influential, authentic, and approachable. Liz's decision to join Miele was motivated by a perpetual desire for improvement, reflecting her commitment to continuous growth and learning.

Liz’s approach to leadership is structured around the 1-3-1 framework: identifying problem statements, providing three solutions, and presenting a recommendation. This methodology highlights her strategic mindset and proactive approach to addressing challenges, making her an invaluable asset to Miele Canada's success.
